Front Desk Receptionist

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Responsible for scheduling patients for all appointments within the medical center. This involves looking over any appointments scheduled by other members of the office team and checking for any potential timing conflicts.

Checks-in clients for appointments and those visiting. Greet those coming in for appointments with staff/client advocates and notify the staff of arrival.

Make reminder calls for upcoming client appointments.

Have clipboards ready for new clients.

Update OFWM website.

Maintain and manage OFWM’s social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat & Instagram).

Create/design flyers, signs and brochure for OFWM per the direction and instructions of the Executive Director.

Qualifications

High school diploma/GED and two years of related office and administrative experience.

Training/education may be substituted for some of the years of experience.

Proven experience using computers and office technology (e.g. Google OfficeSuite, Microsoft Office, photo editor software, AdobeSpark, Microsoft Movie Maker)

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to organize projects and prioritize multiple tasks on a daily basis.

Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively with people from a wide variety of backgrounds, cultures, and experience.

Preferred: Bilingual (Spanish, English)

Nurse Manager

 

Department: Medical

Reports To: Executive and Medical Directors

Summary: Provides nursing care to clients and manages, supervises, and coordinates the operations of the medical department of the pregnancy medical center.

Hours: 18-20 hours/week

Qualifications

Exhibit a strong commitment and dedication to the pro-life position and sexual purity.

Demonstrate computer skills essential for maintaining records and communication

Experience in clinical, public health, or hospital setting for 1-2 years minimum

Will possess the following certificates/licenses:

Current RN License

Current BLS Certification

Current Driver's License

Preferred Qualifications

BA/BSN degree

Maternal/child health nursing experience

Ultrasound Training Certification

Bilingual – speaks English and Spanish

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Administers pregnancy tests, and other duties as assigned. Can perform limited obstetric ultrasounds based on appropriate training, the direction of the standing orders from the Medical Director and on AHWONN guidelines.

Acts as privacy officer for the pregnancy center and maintains compliance with HIPAA, state, and federal laws to protect the privacy of clients and PHI.

Acts as safety officer for the pregnancy center. Responsible for overseeing management of the Environment of Care program, in order to maintain a safe environment for patients, visitors and personnel.

Responsible for the effective direction, management, and operation of the infection control and prevention program of all personnel including education. The responsibilities encompass compliance with OSHA and state regulations.

Develops, implements, and evaluates the medical department's policies, goals, and objectives with the Executive Director and Medical Director.

Attends Medical Conferences that offer professional training and information pertinent to the clinic’s practices.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $23.00 to $25.00 /hour
